Brent Sam began his football journey at the age of 11, earning numerous personal and team achievements along the way. He showcased his skills as a standout player for San Juan North Secondary in the Secondary School Football League in Trinidad and Tobago. Additionally, he represents Trinidad and Tobago as a senior team national player and shares the title of top scorer in the Trinidad and Tobago Premier Football League with Defence Force. Cristiano Ronaldo and his uncle Hector Sam, a former national player, serve as his inspirations.

What’s the most challenging workout or drill you’ve ever done?

It’s definitely the Beep Test.

What’s your pre-game ritual or superstition?

I usually relax, drink lots of water and listen to music.

Who or what inspires you to keep playing and improving?

My daughter continues to motivate me daily.

If you could play for any other club in the world, what would it be? and Why?

It’ll be Manchester United, because that’s my boy hood club.

My mom and daughter, they always cheer me on and keep me going.
